Years spent taming the wilderness have given you an uncanny knack for finding safe havens. When traveling through unfamiliar terrain, you can spend an hour meticulously examining the surroundings and make a Wisdom (Survival) check. On a success, you can discover one of the following (DM's choice):

• A hidden campsite with natural shelter from the elements (caves, overhangs, dense foliage).

• Signs of a nearby source of fresh water (hidden springs, streams masked by vegetation).

• Evidence of potential dangers that can be avoided (animal nesting grounds, predator hunting trails).

• Subtle signs of an upcoming weather change (shifting winds, unusual animal behavior).
