The Castle

A walled fortified manor built atop the only hill in the city. Inhabited by the Simes family.

A public park, maintained by the city.

The Harbour

Owned almost entirely by the Simes family business, The Eldersimes Transportation Company. Timber docks and warehouses, connected by paved roads and railways. At the western- and easternmost points of the district, a pair of elevated stage platforms conceal sunken trebuchets. When not deployed, these stages usually host open air markets.

Red Market

Wealthy residents and commercial business.

Old Eldersimes

Old Eldersiimes is a densely populated district within the city walls. Originally home to the workers who built the city around the Eldersimes Transportation Company, the district is characterized by narrow, winding streets and closely packed buildings. The architecture is primarily wood and stone, showing signs of considerable wear and repair. Many of the founding families remain and a sense of close-knit community prevails.

Downtide Rock

Downtide Rock is a district located on the western outskirts of Eldersimes, directly adjacent to the sugarcane plantations. It is primarily inhabited by the working class who labor on these plantations. The buildings are simple, constructed from rough-hewn timber and sunbaked clay.

North Eldersimes

Slum.

Candlebloom Water

New money. Bigger houses.

Black Bank

A small settlement on the northeastern bank of the Akmalara River’s mouth. Not patrolled by the city guard.
