Downtime Activity: Practicing a Profession

If you are using the Downtime rules presented in the SRD, you can choose to maintain a modest lifestyle for your entire party rather than a comfortable lifestyle for yourself. If you have proficiency in a skill or with a tool and put your skill or tool to use during your downtime, you can earn enough to support a wealthy lifestyle for yourself or a comfortable lifestyle for your party.

Downtime Activity: Work

If you are using the Downtime rules presented in Xanathar's Guide to Everything, you have advantage on your Wages roll when earning wages with a skill or tool you have proficiency in.
