Elf
Lithe and slight, elves have remarkably soft skin and sharp features. They are instantly identifiable by their long, pointy ears and large, bright eyes. They tend to live their exceptionally long lives in safe, naturally defensible areas.
Ancestral Traits
Age
An average elf reaches physical maturity in their early 30s, but isn't considered an adult until much later, typically around their 100th birthday. There is no record of elves dying from old age, however, exceptionally old elves often perish as a result of the symptoms of feral dementia.
Feral Dementia. Elves that live past the age of 600 are at risk of succumbing to feral dementia, an affliction of the mind that robs the subject of their memory, personality, and agency over time. Symptoms include:
Wanderlust.
Difficulty or inability to form new long-term memories.
Difficulty or inability to recall short-term memories.
Major changes in behavior tending towards quick-temper, impatience, and violence.
Paranoia, confusion, rage and psychosis.
Green-blooded
Elves have green blood.

Medium.Random Height and Weight
You may roll for your character's height and weight on the Random Height and Weight table. The roll in the Height Modifier column adds a number (in inches) to the character's base height. To get a weight, multiply the number you rolled for height by the roll in the Weight Modifier column and add the result (in pounds) to the base weight.

Darkvision
You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. Within a 60 ft. radius, you can see in dim light as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. Areas of darkness inside your Darkvision radius are only lightly obscured as far as you are concerned. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Variant Rule: Low-light Vision
At 1st level, a character with the Darkvision or Superior Darkvision ancestral trait may exchange it for Low-light Vision.
Keen Senses
You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Reverie
Elves don't need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day.
After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep. If you meditate during a long rest, you finish the rest after only 4 hours. You otherwise obey all the rules for a long rest; only the duration is changed.
Fey Blood
You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.
